I casted on for this simple, little hat just after the new year for my cousin's new baby, Matthew. I knit the majority of it within a couple of evenings and then stopped two rows from the end and let it sit (why do I do that??). I picked it back up last night and finished it and wove the ends in within a matter of ten minutes. I took some quick photos of it, blocked it, and hopefully I will be able to get it in the mail this afternoon...why didn't I do this sooner?
It is a simple pattern and perfect for the no-fuss couple. I hope that even though it's so late in the season, he'll be able to get some wear out of it. (Ravelry details here)
